Day 8: Reflections

Reflecting back on Day 8 of the Plug-In Profit Site training, I was reminded how an opt-in page connects to an automated email follow-up system, and how everything works together to build an email list and stay in touch with people automatically.

Now, I was already familiar with opt-in pages, the importance of building your own list and follow-up, and how automation is not only  helpful but necessary. As I stated in my last progress report, I wasn’t a complete newbie when I got started with Plug-in-Profit-Site.

Having been a Pro Member of Leadsleap for several years now, I was quite familiar with all the tools available, including link tracking and list management. But the great thing about the Plug-in-Profit-Site program is that I didn’t have to technically set any of this up myself. I requested the free service, and Stone handled the setup, including a fully functioning autoresponder with a long-term email follow-up sequence designed to build trust and promote the products I’m affiliated with over time. It would have taken me months to assemble the kind of follow-up system that Stone put in place for me in 24 hours.

Another thing I learned is the importance of posting to your blog regularly. I really like the fact that when I publish a new blog post, all my subscribers are automatically notified with a link that brings them back to my site where they can read the full post. It’s another example of how automation can help keep things moving without adding more work.

Again, all this was done for me on day 8 of the 30-days to success training. All I had to do was start getting subscribers by placing ads with a link to my opt-in page. Stone even provides examples of ad copy you can use. Another reason Plug-in-Profit-Site is truly a “done-for-you” system. Of course, when you’re ready, everything including the website itself is fully customizable.

It’s great to see how these systems are coming together and starting to build real momentum in my business. My list of subscribers is growing, I have several signups in the business under me, and I’ve already learned far more than I expected at this stage. So, I’m really excited to keep moving forward.
